My name is Robert Lloyd. I’m an Emergency Medicine trainee in London, UK. I’m unashamedly in love with my chosen specialty, golf, (watching) mixed martial arts, and talking loudly in front of large groups.
‘PonderMed’ is my passion project. I use it as a platform for reflection, idea-sharing, and clinical discussion. I’m particularly interested in #performance, #metacognition and #digitalhealth in the context of EM/critical care.
Dr. Patrick De Barr is a former anaesthetic trainee who has stepped out of the clinical environment and is currently studying for his MBA at Imperial College. Patrick was heavily involved with the website’s design and branding during its inception in 2014, and continues to provide regular consult for creative direction and blog content.
Dr. Katie Knight (@PEMGeek) is a paediatrics trainee in London, currently working at Homerton University Hospital. She has completed 3 years of training in general paediatrics and is now sub-specialising in paediatric emergency medicine. She is passionate about innovative medical education and simulation training in PEM. Alongside occasional paediatric contributions to PonderingEM, she authors the excellent PEMGeek.com, and is on the editorial board for PaediatricFOAM.com.
