Tom Bourne (@Bourne4ED) is an EM advanced trainee currently plying his trade at The Alfred Emergency and Trauma Centre in Melbourne. Born in the UK, now settled in Australia, the only thing Bourney enjoys more than getting his hands dirty in resus is swinging a golf club in anger. If his medical career falls through, he can always fall back on his chess. Fortunately for all of us that doesn’t look like happening any time soon – the man is a class act.
